Our Approach to Guidance
Infinite Grace is a ministry that approaches life issues and problems Biblically rather than psychologically. Years of experience have shown that the current approach to “mental health” is not able to deliver what is promised. Phobias and disorders are being designed and named at such an incredible rate, no one can really begin to keep up. God’s Word simplifies the problem by teaching us that all of our difficulties grow out of one root: sin.

But even as we help those receiving ministry to recognize sinful choices, there is no condemnation. Our approach is grace-oriented; based on a desire to see lives and marriages saved, and families stabilized so that children grow up accepted and nurtured; trained in Biblical truth and able to establish stable homes of their own.

While we want to understand that the problem is not as complicated as we’ve been told, at the same time, we acknowledge that it takes hard work to make needed changes. While careful listening and empathy are a definite part of the ministry process, the type of ministry offered is not passive, but directive and teaching oriented. Homework will sometimes be assigned, including reading and simple Bible studies.

Most find Biblical Guidance ministry to be helpful and continue until Biblical methods of thinking and acting have been learned.

Doctrine & Statement of Faith
At Infinite Grace Ministries, the sole basis of our beliefs is the Bible, God’s written Word. We believe that it is uniquely, verbally and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and is written without error in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters pertaining to the human life experience.

-
There is only one true God, eternally existing in three Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
-
God the Father, Creator of heaven and earth, is the functional head of the Trinity. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit agreed to obtain satisfaction for divine justice and to proclaim reconciliation through the death and resurrection of Jesus, the Son. The Holy Spirit came when Lord Jesus ascended the throne of the universe. He came to teach truth about Jesus to all humankind.
-
Jesus is God: the Living Word Who became flesh through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and His virgin birth. He lived a sinless life and voluntarily atoned for the sins of humanity by dying on the cross as our substitute, thus satisfying divine justice and accomplishing salvation for all who trust in Him alone. He rose from the dead in the same body, though glorified, in which He lived and died. He ascended physically, bodily into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God, the Father.
-
The Holy Spirit, the third Person in the Trinity, has come into the world to reveal and glorify Christ and to apply the saving work of Christ to humankind. He convicts and draws sinners to Christ and through their decision, imparts new life to them until the time of redemption is complete. He is the source and power of all acceptable worship and service, the infallible interpreter of the infallible Word, and seeks to occupy us with Christ, rather than with ourselves or our experiences.
-
Humankind was originally created in the image of God. When the first man and woman sinned by disobeying God, that historic fall brought all humankind under divine condemnation. Since we are unable to save ourselves, we are in need of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit. We cannot enter the Kingdom of God until we are born anew by the Spirit.
-
The salvation of man is wholly a work of God’s free grace and is not the work, in whole or in part, of human works, effort, goodness or religious ceremony. Jesus Christ became the sinner’s substitute before God and died as a propitiating sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. It is the privilege of all who are born again of the Spirit to be assured of their salvation from the very moment in which they trust Christ as Savior and Lord. Every believer is called to live in the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
-
Jesus Christ is Head of the church, His Body. This Body is composed of all people, living and dead, who are joined to Him through saving faith. Each believer is baptized into the Body of Christ by the Holy Spirit.
-
At physical death, the believer enters immediately into eternal, conscious fellowship with the Lord and awaits the resurrection of his body to everlasting glory and blessing. At physical death, the unbeliever enters immediately into eternal, conscious separation from the Lord and awaits the resurrection of his body to everlasting judgment and condemnation.
-
The Lord Jesus Christ commanded all believers to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world and to disciple people of every nation.
-
Satan is an angelic being, the author of sin and cause of humanity’s downfall. He is the open and declared enemy of God and humankind, and shall be eternally punished in the lake of fire. His work today is to thwart the plan of God, create confusion among Christians, blind the unbelieving to the love of God and to deceive the world.
At Infinite Grace Ministries, we accept these large areas of doctrinal teaching on which there has historically been general agreement among all true followers of Christ.

Because of the specialized calling of the Biblical Personal Guidance and teaching ministries of Infinite Grace, we desire to allow for freedom of thought and growth through the Holy Spirit on other doctrinal matters, provided that any interpretation is based upon the Bible and wisdom from the Holy Spirit.

We desire that no personal interpretation shall become an issue that would hinder the ministry of reconciliation to which God has called us.
Mission & Purpose
The mission and purpose of Infinite Grace Ministries is to teach individuals how the presence and power of God makes a practical difference in every area of their lives, including worship, building and maintaining relationships, and in work and leisure time.

Infinite Grace is an organization that functions to bring about positive change in the realm of the spiritual, emotional and relational needs of people. These objectives will be accomplished by:
-
Ministering effectively to the spiritual, emotional and relational needs of individuals.
-
Ministering to people in such a way that they are able to reach out to others and share the knowledge they have received.
-
Encouraging those who have received ministry to share with others the new life view they have attained through the ministry of Infinite Grace.
-
Teaching classes in local churches and organizations.
-
Offering personal Biblical guidance in small groups.
-
One-on-one personal Biblical guidance for specific issues.
-
Week-end seminars and marriage retreats.
-
Workbook publications for ‘at home’ study.
Statistics show that each person who receives ministry significantly touches the lives of at least seven other people, which extends this ministry far beyond our office walls.

Troubling Statistics On Families In Oklahoma
Throughout the state of Oklahoma, including rural areas, marriages, families and children are in trouble. The Oklahoma State Department of Health reports the following:
-
The number of divorces and the number of marriages in Oklahoma are nearly equal.
-
Oklahoma County ranks second in the nation in number of divorces granted.
-
in large part because of the added financial burden of maintaining two households after a divorce, and because child support payments may not be made consistently, 24.6% of the children in Oklahoma live below poverty level.
-
in large measure due to the negative influence of troubled homes, 26,000 juveniles are taken into custody in Oklahoma each year.
-
23,000 reports of suspected child abuse or neglect are made in Oklahoma each year.
-
A felonious assault, often domestic violence, occurs every 38 minutes in Oklahoma.
-
The individuals, families and children represented in these statistics are in crisis and need help. They need someone to come alongside of them and give them the necessary tools to manage life. Infinite Grace Ministries has the proven capability to provide these tools.
In order to reach large numbers of people through this very effective ministry, Dixie Yoder and the Board of Directors of Infinite Grace Ministries are continually seeking new avenues of ministry that will touch more lives in the same amount of time. The cost of the guidance ministry offered through Infinite Grace is underwritten by donations from churches, businesses and individuals who recognize the tremendous value of this ministry in Oklahoma and surrounding states.

The impact on our communities cannot be accurately measured by statistics; however, the statistics page does give a glimpse into the ministry activity that is made possible by the faithful financial and prayerful support of churches, businesses and individuals.
Funding
Infinite Grace Ministries charges $65.00 per session and we are not equipped to accept insurance. This amount is well under the average in Oklahoma of $120.00 to $150.00 per session.

Offering ministry at the level of excellence that we insist upon does not come without cost. Researching, preparing and publishing new materials used in ministry are ongoing expenses, as well as the cost of seminars, workshops and conferences that are an essential part of continuing staff education.

The tax deductible contributions of those who see the need and value of the ministry offered through Infinite Grace Ministries are essential to the continuation of this extremely effective service. Regular contributions not designated for a specific project help fund administrative costs and office expenses incurred in the normal maintenance of an office.

Infinite Grace is governed by a Board of Directors. This Board ensures quality of service and accountability in the handling of finances.
